Cost of living crisis and effect on women experiencing domestic abuse

Women’s Aid have published findings from a report showing the impact of the cost of living crisis, as 15.4 per cent of women supported by the charity’s No Woman Turned Away project report not having enough money to pay for essentials such as food for themselves and their children, phone bills, or transportation whilst waiting for a refuge space.
