NSPCC calls for change to the Online Safety Bill and Refuge describes Level of Technology-Facilitate

The NSPCC have called for amendment of the Online Safety Bill, noting that currently despite being some 260 pages, it makes no reference to Violence Against Women and Girls. They specifically ask the Prime Minister to back an amendment put forward by Baroness Nicky Morgan that would force tech companies to tackle Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and ensure the risks women and girls face do not continue to go unaddressed, in particular through a mandatory VAWG Code of Practice so tech companies have a legal duty to fight violence against women and girls on their sites.
