Too many at risk of domestic abuse by people on probation, HM Inspectorate of Probation finds

The Probation Service's efforts to curb domestic abuse and safeguard victims have been examined in a recent report by HM Inspectorate of Probation. The last time this aspect of probation practice was reviewed was in 2018. Justin Russell, Chief Inspector of Probation, expressed serious concern, stating: “Despite some positive changes in policy, there appears to be little improvement in practice, and in some areas, conditions have worsened. This is not acceptable and leaves too many potential victims exposed to the risk of domestic abuse.” To read the full article, see the link below.
